Product Description
An Engine Piston Body is a part of the internal combustion Engine. It is a cylindrical structure designed to fit within the Engine cylinder. The top surface of the Piston Body is called a crown, it is subjected to high temperatures and pressures during the combustion process. The sides of the Piston Body are called the Skirts. These Skirts provide stability to the Piston by guiding its movement within the Cylinder. Attributes: • Transfers the force generated by the combustion gases to the crankshaft • Guides and stabilizes the movement of the Piston Applications: An Engine Piston Body is used to contain the fuel-air mixture for the combustion process.
