Product Description

The Sonic Position Sensor is a sensing device utilized to accurately detect the position of moving components. Operating on the principle of ultrasonic technology, it emits sound waves toward the target object and analyzes the reflected waves to determine its position with high accuracy. Its light-emitting diode light functionality brightness is low and off at low pulse width modulation output and brightness is full on at high pulse width modulation output. This sensor monitors the movement of different parts within equipment. It provides real-time feedback on the position of the components, and it enables accurate control and automation, enhancing operational efficiency and safety. Attributes: • Measuring range is 200 millimeters to 1520 millimeters. • Output type is pulse width modulation 5 percent to 95 percent. • Pulse width modulation frequency is 5000 hertz. • Resistant to electromagnetic interference. Applications: The Sonic Position Sensor is installed within the asphalt paver's control unit to continuously monitor the distance between the paver and the surface being paved, ensuring accurate positioning and uniform pavement thickness during operation.
