5H-5797: Rectangular Gasket

A Rectangular Gasket is a seal which fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. Gaskets use compression to provide a tight, leak free seal between mating parts. Cat gaskets are designed using the right combination of material and to deliver performance and application. Attributes: • Provided with 5 Mounting holes each of size 13/32". • Able to withstand high pressure and temperature conditions. Applications: A Rectangular Gasket is used in various applications, these are anti-vibration, packaging, noise and sound reduction, and most importantly, its most common use, sealing. Gaskets are used in many static joints throughout Cat machines and engines.
