Description: A Piston Snap Ring is a type of fastener used in hydraulic cylinders. It is generally circular with one edge being bent towards the inner side. The Bent edge allows for the tight fit of the set screw with the piston. Its Size is directly dependent on the diameter of the piston. Attributes: • Prevents screws loosening during operation. • Enhances effective sealing performance. Applications: A Piston Snap Ring is used in securely holding the set screw with the Piston, mostly used in CAT 424, 42, 426, and 426F2 Backhoe Loaders.
