Description:Cat heavy duty temperature sensors use thermocouples for sensing temperature. The sensor electronic module is aluminum with a pigtail connector. The sensor harness is protected by glass fiber sheathing and stainless steel braiding. Heavy duty temperature sensors are available as passive sensors or active sensors with PWM output.Attributes:• Designed for use in harsh environments• Available in various thread sizes, connector types and harness lengthsApplications:• Heavy duty temperature sensors are primarily used on engine exhaust ports and on the turbo inlet and outlet.• Cat temperature sensors are application specific sensors.
