207-1707: Mount Assembly

Description: Isolation mounts are used to attach and position systems, accommodate displacement, and isolate components from the surrounding structure (vibration, shock, noise.) Plateform Mounts feature an integrated flange and inner sleeve to allow easy bolted-joint attachments. The mount installs through a center bore and is attached with either 2 or 4 flange bolts. Attributes: Cat® Mounting Systems are designed to reduce stress and strain on mounted components to increase their durability and performance life, and to contribute to operator comfort. The entire system (mount design, material selection, placement, hardware, etc.) is optimized and validated to meet specific application requirements. Plateform Mounts are typically used to support static loads in the axial direction, and a large outer diameter rebound washer may be used to limit displacement. Applications: Plateform Mounts are used in a wide variety of Cat system installations, and work well in connections involving sheet metal such as with electric panels / boxes, coolers, and HVAC components.
